The talks will center on regional security challenges, including the conflict involving Iran and the situations in Gaza and Lebanon. A key aspect of the discussions will be preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Türkiye-UAE High-Level Strategic Council. Fidan plans to emphasize the necessity of increased regional cooperation to address ongoing conflicts while minimizing external interventions. A significant topic will be the freedom of navigation through strategic maritime passages such as the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which are vital to both regional and international trade.
The discussions are expected to cover developments in Gaza, particularly the implementation of the second phase of the peace plan, as well as humanitarian aid and reconstruction efforts. Both Türkiye and the UAE are founding members of the Board of Peace, and they are likely to coordinate on activities aimed at maintaining peace and stability in the region.

The economic relationship between Türkiye and the UAE has been growing, with bilateral trade reaching $19.346 billion in 2025, making the UAE Türkiye’s largest trading partner in the Gulf. The High-Level Strategic Council previously held its first meeting in Ankara in July 2025, setting the stage for continuous engagement and dialogue.
